Got my STI Spartan in today. At first glance I was really suprised at the quality and how tightly the pistol was fit. Me and a buddy put about 75 rds through it and had no malfunctions. The pistol was very accurate (but not as accurate as my glock 21) and seemed to handle very well. I would definately say it is a great budget 1911. I was really excited to get back into the 1911's I love the looks and feel of them but at the end of the day they make you appreciate your $500 glock.
