So, I’ve been hunting with 7mm Rem Mag Remington 150 grain Swift Sciroccos for years. Then I decided to get into reloading. I bought 150 gr Barnes TTSX to start. Now trying to find .284 150gr TTSX seems impossible. Saw some 139 grain LRX, and based on muzzle velocities and BC’s, the 139gr LRX will maintain more velocity and more energy at 500 yards than the 150gr TTSX. Any advantages a 150gr TTSX would have out to 500 yards that I’m not aware of? I ask, because I bought the 139gr LRX and am wondering if there is any reason to keep looking for availability of the 150gr ttsx that I used last year, other than I have dope for them and could save some rounds down range from my rifle.

Being a monolithic bullet the lighter weight, slightly lower sectional density doesn’t make much difference on penetration. For elk, deer or pronghorn style game, they’ll work just fine. If it were me I’d just set up for the 139’s this year and call it good.

Yep. Not seeing any other option on ammoseek.com, so it probably won't even be a choice. I figured I better get the 139gr LRX to make sure I had something to shoot for this year's hunt.
