Still haven't seen a Sig P365 in person.

Yeah, I wouldn't mind having one, but the price and the lingering questions about issues have me leery.

Rumor is that Glock is releasing something soon to compete with it, so I'll likely save my pennies for that since I can buy Glocks through Blue Label program for quite a bit less.

Couple local shops have usually had one in the case when I was around. $499 seems to be the going price.

Had one, it shot nice enough but ultimately I shot my Glock 26 much better (hand fit) and found the 365 too big for pocket carry and no better than the 26 for belt carry.

So off it went for no loss to me, nice thing about it being a scarce gun. New owner loves it and has had none of the common issues yet (bought it in... June? July maybe?).

Neat gun, good trigger, too small for me. Were I to go to a small gun again it'd probably be a Glock 43 or Sig 938. Better hand fit and I dont mind a few less rounds for something I'd only rarely carry.

No, but I don’t recall ever seeing a 10+1 that small before either. They are in demand for a reason.

Theres been that Kel Tec P-11 available for years now. Same size or a bit smaller. But it is a Kel-Tec. Though these SIGs are getting nearly as bad a reputation for breaking.

I looked at one with price tag of $559.99. Went home with second hand like new Walther PPS for total $267.50. The only thing I wish one of the magazines was six rounder instead of both being eight. I will never understand why people buy guns for consealment and buy the longest magazines available.:barf:
The Sig is really small handgun same size as LC9.

The Sig is smaller than the LC9. Once again I will say this. I shot the Sig365 with a few club members. A thousand rounds and the gun is a great little gun. Top quality. We only had 4 failures which we believe were user error. The shooter riding the slide because of the narrow length of the receiver to the grip. Not the perfect fit for me, and I prefer the Nano. Others should love the gun if it fits their hand. I personally would not be able to wear gloves with the gun. To me, it shot very similar to my LC9s although not as much muzzle flip. I do think the Price of the Sig is a little high. I was able to buy nice night sights for the Nano and Ruger and still paid less. That said, I just prefer the Nano. And there are a lot of nice Micro 9mm's out there. I believe folks should try out all of them and find what is best for them;
The bashing that goes on with the Sig, IMO is BS. It is a really nice firearm. If I did not own the Nano, I might be thinking of getting one and just work the gun some to see if my hand could get accustomed to it.

Here are some data on Size comparison.

Sig appears to have shipped a ton of these in the last couple of months, and they are regularly appearing on shelves in my area in the $499 range, including Sportsman's Warehouse and small shops. I bought one locally last month, and it has been shooting great for about 900 rounds. It does have a dim front sight that will have to be addressed, and I did break a magazine base plate on a flat base magazine after it hit the concrete about 25 times. All in all, though, it is an impressive package with a great deal of potential, and it shoots a lot better than either my Glock 43 or Glock 42.

It's a nice gun but feels a touch small for my hands.

Funny thing about mine is that it replaced a S&W Shield in part because of the capacity but also because it's just enough thicker to be more comfortable in the hand but not noticeably so thick that I can tell the difference in the waistband.

I don't think Glock will be able to really compete without a dramatic change. One reason that Glocks feel so thick is because of the thick plastic magazine body. If you made a Glock with a thin, steel magazine body, would it still be a Glock? Gaston has never really shown much interest in more than incremental deviations from his formula.

I sure would like to see Glock's take, though.

That's my take as well. The shield doesn't work for me at all. The 365 is a better fit for me also.

But better than bad is not necessarily good.

I have small hands, so the Shield was workable for me, but it always felt a smidge too thin. I could actually just barely get a full grip on a Shield without pinky dangle. The P365 works fantastically for me. I hope mine doesn't break.

Me too, it wanted to twist. I leaned to overcome that, but I had to think about it. No such issue with the P-365, fits like a glove, steady in the hand.

I felt the same with my Shield .40, the thin profile while nice for concealment, didn't lend itself to stability in the hand. I felt that if they would have had more of a blocky back to the grip rather than the rolled edges it would have been better. Ultimately, I sold the shield and have moved on.

Original or 2.0? I found that Talon grips did wonders for my original Shield but mine is 9mm so it naturally isn't as snappy. I would guess the 2.0 grips are fine out of the box.

I've never handled a P365 but I would imagine it feels good in hand and conceals really well. I'd be a little leery of them based on the problems they've had but my guess is a very small percentage will ever actually fail.

It was the original Shield, really early serial number. I put talon grips on mine, and while they helped a lot I still felt the need to readjust grip between shots. Another issue I had with the Shield and with the M&P line is the hinged trigger as well. I just don't think they are the right handgun for my likes, but there are a great many people who love them and I'm glad for that.

But back to the Sig 365 as I don't want to derail this thread, once they've been sold for a few years and work everything out on them, and if the other manufacturers don't put up something similarly sized to it with the capacity I would have to take a strong look at purchasing one.

Took my 365n out today for a little exercise; fed everything from 115 to 124, factory to reload without a hitch (as did my P7). What surprised me is how well it liked the Aguila 115 gr FMJ that sells for $8/50 at Rural King.......It liked it as much as the Speer Lawman and Remington. With the 12 round mag extending the grip just a slight smidge, it fits my hand perfectly

Looks like it's time for Winchester Forged/Tulammo test.

Mine had the dead trigger at 150rds, June date. Sig fixed it within a week.

I remain a P365 fan: small, light, excellent sights, easy to shoot with surprising accuracy. Best feeling gun since the Hi-Power, I plan to get a second one.

I have, and prefer the Sig to, the G43, G19, FNS9C, KT PF9, S&W M39 and Hi-Power (maybe on those last two).

I do like the G43 but not as well, does anyone know how firm the Glock rumor is? I’ve been suspecting they feel a little left behind by Sig lately.

I have R9 and prefer it over Sig 365. The sights on R9 are vestigial and the gun is extremely difficult to shoot well.

Is it just me or do this look like two different frames on your P365’s? Did they change things since they’ve been out or is it just the picture. It may just be the lighting.
I think it is more the lighting and angle. Also one has been carried daily for months and the other sits in the box until needed. Now looking at both the stippling is slightly different but remember one has been carried daily and shot at least twice a week which will alter it slightly from a "new" guns looks.

Yes. Same with original Walther PPS over Glock 26. The PPS pounds me at the base of my thumb when shot, therefore, I have to hold it little lower or wear weight lifting gloves. I shoot PPS a lot better than the Glock. No matter what ammo I choose I get minute of Dixie plate groups at 10 yards, awful. I'm not a great shot but its embarrising to go to the range. With 365 ball G26 it as easy to shoot as Russian Makarov which shot great for me when I had it. The Glock will be on "chopping block" soon.
