Still looking at safes!!!

Went to Shoot Straight yesterday. I could spend hours in that place.
Anyway. Looking at Amsec safes. They had 2 marked as BF6636. One was 1200 something lbs. for one price. The other was 800 something lbs with all brass, a tray and a dehumidifier, but was $2000 more than the other. I didn't measure them but appeared to be the same size. Can someone tell me what,s up. I asked at the store but got no reasonable answer.
 
Are you sure they were both BF series safes? Odds are one was the BF series and the other was one of their cheaper models which use thinner steel hence the price and weight difference.
 
Saw that in your other thread. I would hate wakeing up at 3AM and have to open that thing.
 
I like Shoot Straight. They have good salespeople, and a big selection. I think they make most of their money on gun shows, because I've always found their prices to be the highest around. I'd say shop around. What city are you in? Tampa? Just down the road is Tampa Safe on Causeway Blvd. Great folks and a big selection.
