I recently purchased a Stoeger 2000 semi as a used gun.
My problem lies in that it came with a Skeet Tube installed and no wrench or spare chokes. I need to find a good extended choke tube for under $70.
I would like either a modified or improved modified but i have heard of choke tubes that can be adjusted, are they any good?
Also im pretty sure that the stoeger uses benelli tubes but not 100% sure.
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Mine uses Benelli as well as Beretta tubes. I have all 3 brands and they all interchange. Any good gunshop should stock them, or they can be ordered from Cabelas or many other mail order suppliers.

When you don't have a choke wrench, a quarter makes a good substitute for 12 ga. in most cases. If it doesn't come out easily, don't force things as you might bugger up the slots in the choke tube.
The adjustable choke you mentioned is probably the polychoke. Do a search of the net and you will find the company. It costs around $100 for one so if you just want another choke tube or two, it wouldn't be economical to go after the polychoke. As to their worth? Do a search of THR threads and you will come up with a number of them. Some people love them and some want to saw them off.
