I keep reading how the Stoeger Cougar's rotating barrel design helps to reduce recoil. Can someone explain how it reduces recoil? Is it a noticeable difference? Thanks

I tried one at a demo, ten 9mm std press Winchester fmj rounds. I was impressed with how easy it was to get back on target. The recoil (which was not that much) is straight back, little muzzle flip. My 9mm, a BHP, has significantly more muzzle flip. I recommend the twisty-turny Cougar over the jerk-down-and-slam-back-up High Power. But I'll keep my High Power, thank you very much.
