Here's a quick video of a friend shooting my SBS 12ga with hand loaded 00 buck blackpowder shells. Fun range toy!

Too bad I didn't get video of you prancing about giggling after the first time you shot it!
 
It's registered per the 1934 NFA and complies with applicable state laws (you mean Title II form, and it wasn't a transfer form (form 4) but a form 1)
 
I assume the handload was created with recoil management in mind. Would it have been possible to rig up an equivalent shell with smokeless? I really know nothing about smokeless vs. blackpowder as far as recoil goes....
 
The recoil was on par with factory 00 buck loads. The only time it gets to be unmanageable is with slugs or any 3" loads.
 
Cringing:

Watching that guy with the sawed off shotgun not checking to see if there is someone down range first! There was that guy checking his targets and there he is with a cocked and loaded sawed off 12 gauge ready to pull the trigger.

Posting that video on YouTube promotes a cavalier attitude towards firearm safety.
