That's too bad. As said, a clarification of what area/state you're in would be helpful.

It's gotta be the Columbia river gorge.. it goes a good ways to the east of Portland (Oregon) and Vancouver (just north in Washington). The big cities along the Columbia are those two.. they are adjacent and just across the river (I-5) from each other. The goods would probably be sold in this area due to the proximity to the gorge and their respective populations.
Good luck.

First time I have ever heard of "Columbia Gorge" ... and the OP's Location listing of "the boonies" did not help. :)

I was the victim of a burglary one time in my life. It was the mid-80s and it appeared to be the work of one of the homeless types wandering about a nearby city park.

I immediately headed out in search of the perp (and yes I was legally CCW at the time and no he did not get any of my firearms).

I am glad I did not find that fellow as I was not thinking straight. I have never felt so angry & violated in my life.

That's horrible. Hopefully your homeowners insurance will help cushion some of the blow.

It's where Lewis and Clark got ejected into the Pacific ocean.. from the Columbia. I think it's the fourth largest river on the planet.

It would be a good idea to present your list to the Washington Arms Collector. They sponsor Gun Shows here on the West side.

I'll keep my eyes out up here on the peninsula in pawn shops and in the newspaper.

BTW, the Columbia River is how you had Chinook salmon spawning in Nevada at one point....between it, the Snake, and assorted tributaries, its pretty dang long.

Ugh. I hate reading threads like this.

Lot of good guns on that list.

Hope you were insured???

Never heard of Columbia Gorge? Google it. Check out images. One of the few places in the world where a river intersects a mountain range. It's a beautiful place. Sadly, the many hiking, tourist, and recreational areas also afford thieves some great opportunities.

Sorry to hear it, I am in Vancouver WA and have been looking for some of the guns on your list i'll have to make sure to keep this list to watch out so i dont buy something stolen.

I'm in the mid-columbia. Whether WA or OR it's all the same conglomeration of small towns. And yes it is likely the arms will get sold in the metro areas of Portland or Vancouver. I have serial #'s posted (9 out of 13) between the make and descriptions. Thanks for all the support. I've taken your tips on posting on alternative websites, databases, etc.

With an arsonal like that, I bet you were targeted by someone who knew you have them. Could have been just a lucky [not for you] hit but likely they knew exactly what they were after. If you do a lot of shooting at a range or gun club I'd ask your buddies who you trust to keep their ears open. Same at gun shops or bars that you might frequent.

Had a friend who in the day did a ton of shooting. Mostly "turkey"shoots and he had at least 100 shotguns plus many other rifles and what. Bingo one day after he and the wife left for work his home was hit. Most of the guns were taken. Later one of the guys he knew thru the shooting events called and told him to check out a pawn shop in a neighboring county. The friend knew some of the shotguns by sight and recognized them at the shop. Was able to get back the bulk of the stolen guns and the cops traced the thieves who turned out to be frequent competators at the shoots.

The bad guys will likely turn out to be someone who you know or who at lease knows about you. Hmm! I can hear the wheels turning in your brain already.
