Stolen Guns (Wichita Falls, TX)

I Just want to make everyone aware of a stolen handgun and a few rifles in the N. Texas area. Taken from a locked truck last night along with hunting gear and clothes. Theft has been reported to the local PD. I have no expectations of getting these back, but I sure don't want any of you buying stolen goods either.

Interested to know where it was parked and how they got in?

So sorry for your loss. I think about if it happened to me all the time.
 
We went into town for dinner. We backed into a parking spot and could not see the rear of the truck.... that was a mistake.

When we came out, the hard cover on bed had been popped and everything was stolen. They even took dirty clothes. Fast movers that obviously had some experience in this sort of crime. We were out of towners and the only place to keep the hunting gear was in the the locked truck bed.
 
if youre a nra member i think you have $1000 insurance fund on firearms stolen from a secure place(gun safe, locked house/vehicle). and it sucks when things are stolen, especially firearms. makes you feel vulnerable
 
Stolen Guns

I own pawnalert.com. This is an online Stolen Data Base used to track stolen items. It's being used by pawnshops and second hand dealers. E-mail your info with serial numbers along with the police case number and I will list your theft for free. We also have a few dealers using this site at our local gun shows. I hope this helps.
