From here, I read this:
All the school shootings that have ended abruptly in the last ten years were stopped because a law-abiding citizen -- a potential victim -- had a gun

Could someone please provide some links to the news of such events? It seems they aren't as good news as the other kind.

No offense, but it seems like whenever there is a huge gun issue in the news, the average Joes start debating things with coworkers, and then they come onto the forums looking for someone to hand them some references.

I swear there are 4 or 5 threads asking this same question. Please do a little of your own research. I'm not trying to be harsh, but I think you would learn more that way.

At the same time, remember that debating statistics, the 2nd Amendment, and trading stories about how guns have stopped violence is just hacking at the leaves. The root of the issue is the very simple ideal that we have a right to life and to defend it with the best tool available. You'll never get that across to people, but maybe it's better that way in the end.

Pearl, Mississippi, and that Appalachain law school (can't remember the exact name) come to mind. I'm sure google will find both rather quickly, as might a search here.
