I'm reloading more ammo than I shoot, so I'm wondering how to store it. I thought about putting it in baggies and storing in ammo cans. Will this work for long term storage? I'm loading lead bullets if that matters.

Thanks,
Shayn

There are surplus bullets being sold from WWII that are all still good so I doubt storing your ammo for a year or two will hurt it much. Plastic bags work well but I usually put then in plastic ammo boxes and store then on the basement shelf. (basement has a dehumidifier)

Until the US Army invents a better ammo container, I'll go with what they use.

Ammo cans.

Keep your cans dry, and the contents will stay dry. Nothing else is needed.
Stable temperature helps too, but is not nearly as important as DRY.

Whatever organizer-device you use inside the cans is completely up to you.
