After shooting a 100 rds through my new pistol I found all the caseings have the same strange markings. You can see where the firing pin hits but then theres like a rectangle around it? Looks like the firing pin is traveling to far into the primer? This is a used Glock 22 I just got. It did work flawless all day just curious as to why it does this? This is the best picture I could get. Thanks

Is normal. The FP is actually a rectangle and the larger raised area is primer flow back into the FP channel. Its the mark of a Glock. Makes it easier to pick out your brass at the range.
