Stripped Lowers on Sale

If my kids decide on different lowers I’ll definitely build on these! I’m shocked they’re still in stock with 2 hours to go, hopefully a few more guys can get in on this.

***. I just bought 2 of these on Saturday and now the price dropped another $10? Of course, the price goes down AFTER I already filled out the 4473.

Was a 24 hour sale price, limit 3. A few weeks ago it was $34.99 with a limit of 1. I’ve dropped $145 on 4 stripped lowers in a month’s time, 3 Anderson’s and an Aero while only intending to build on 1. But again, if my kids don’t pick out whiz bang color anodized lowers and are fine with these, I’ll be money ahead. If not, I’ll be stocked up for the next project.

Yes I have recently bought some Aero stuff, and it is my new favorite.

No complaints on the Anderson’s quality and the assembly was hitch-free. The Aero does look nicer by comparison including the slightly larger bevel to the magwell. Still, it was $50 on sale which is to say 66% more and that does add up when stockpiling. Interesting that when I slipped a PSA upper onto the Anderson lower the fit was rattle free.

I have a few Anderson lowers I've built with, not complaining. My other builds were with Spikes, the Aeros are just as good or better. Coating is very attractive, smooth black, very nice fit and finish both.

Primary Arms has Spikes lowers on sale this weekend for $75.99 down from $103.99 Almost thankful I’m spending the next few weeks in D.C. so I can get away from all of these sales!

A few more hours left, forgot to post this earlier (been swamped with wedding plans). Anderson stripped lowers for $29.99, both open-ear and integrated trigger guard styles, at Primary Arms. http://www.primaryarms.com/AdName+Clearance,Sale/SaleName+24-Hour-Deal

I got the email at 8:10AM today (7-22-18) so hopefully on sale till 8:00AM tomorrow (Monday). I snagged a few more just because, still in stock on both a few minutes ago.

What really stinks is that I bought 2 at their last sale and they didn't have the closed ear, which I really wanted. Oh well two in the safe for the kids when they want to build (if dad doesn't take em first)

Buds has black rain lowers complete for 120 shipped it’s more money but by the time you buy the parts kit and your time to build it.

I’ve bought 3 open and 2 closed plus an Aero (open). With the myriad of trigger guards to choose from I welcome the chance to customize a bit and the prices make stocking up a sensible proposition.

My first (build) lower was an Anderson, I’ve got $195 in it with the stock I wanted, grip I wanted, and a RRA Varmint trigger. To change those three parts out on the Black Rain would cost me another $137 or $257 total. The complete lower I bought from PSA was $170 with Magpul furniture and their in-house trigger job which makes the milspec trigger very useable.

The point to buying stripped lowers beyond the obvious building of rifles is to ensure you can build when money allows while having the serialized portion in hand. I’d sooner buy 4 stripped lowers than a single completed if a ban were to go in to effect as I already own complete rifles I can shoot.

I would have bought some, but I already have 10 or more. Yes, I know. I have an addiction.
I find it funny that some people think Anderson lowers are cheap. But then those are the same people that don’t know that Anderson manufacturers lowers for other companies. And this other companies sell their Anderson lowers for $80 plus.
Now I do like the Areo Gen 2 lowers better but they’re not your standard milspec lower.

I've always shot rifle's that had a closed trigger guard, so other than an additional piece to install, never saw a need for an open trigger or the ability to open it up. I got the two, now I'm thinking I should have gotten 2 more for 22 conversions for the kids. Would like to do a traditional A2 build with one of the uppers. Maybe next flash sale..
