Stupid dreams about firearms!

Who's got some good ones?

Here's mine... I had one bad one a few weeks ago that finally convinced me I need to start carrying with a round chambered... but last night I had a pretty strange one. I was at the airport for some reason and my car had been broken into and nearly everything on it and in it was stolen (they took the stereo, the seats, the trunk lining material, even the wheels and tires and left the car sitting on it's drums and rotors). I actually wasn't too mad about it because I knew the insurance company would cut a check for 3x what is worth. I went out to call the cops and on the way back, for some reason they were having everyone that wanted to go into the parking lot go through metal detectors. I set it off, and they did a quick pat down on me and I even felt the guy's hand go across where my gun was but he didn't notice it so I went on my way. Weird stuff. I don't know why I would of walked through a metal detector with a gun in the first place but I was worried they were going to find it and take away my CCW, but luckily for me the security guards were incompetent. I love when dreams turn out for the best! Life needs to be that way more often.

when I first got my CCW i wasnt carrying chambered either at first. Then I had that dream where you needed it and it jammed while racking the slide. A little while back I read a post where someone else also had this one. Seems popular:)
 
I've had that dream that no matter how close the target and how much you concentrate on the front sight, you never hit what you're shooting at.
 
I often have scarry dreams where I am in some situation where I need to fire my gun but the trigger pull weight is more that I can pull. I yank on the trigger repeadily and I can't get it to depress. And I carry a 1911.
 
TechBrute and ajacobs, I've had those exact same dreams, too. In some I'm carrying a revolver and just cannot pull that trigger back. In others the assailant is at point-blank range, I'm blazing away, and I'm missing by a mile. Such a relief to wake up from either of those!

This MUST have been a dream. You obviously haven't taken it in the poop shoot from an insurance co. yet.

I had a dream where I had a G36 or G93 or something, it was some big heavy HK .223, and lots and lots of magazines for them.

Too bad I woke up :(

Ha! I NEVER have that problem. My guns are always in great shape and never malfunction.

Problem is, they're always loaded with what seems to be "nerfy" foam ammo, that just sort of poots out of the barrel and bounces off the evil entity that's trying to get me.
 
I once had a dream about me,Halle Berry,and gun cleaning.:D Only reason I remember it is that I wrote it down after I woke up.I won't go into details since this is a family forum and all. Does that count?
 
The other night I had a dream that I was being attacked by killer apes- I was trying to hold them off with the Taurus Model 66 6" .357- but it kept malfunctioning (something that has happened only once at the range).

Anyway, I woke up with a stronger reason to take part of the tax refund check and buy a Ruger 6" GP100 SS, to go with the Ruger 4" .357, and the SP101 (both SS).

Yeah, killer apes.

I never have problems hitting in my dreams about guns, but I've had the dream where I just can't seem to pull the trigger enough to fire... gah, I hate that one ;). I also have dreams where the gun keeps jamming no matter what, or it isn't loaded and I can't find any ammo, or I can only find the wrong type of ammo... :p

I had a similar one.

Walking on a dark street back home ware I grew up right out side of the ghetto.

I was approached by four hoods and I pulled out a pistol to defend myself and they got ready to attack me.

I aimed and pulled the trigger and "poof" nothing. I tilted the weapon down and the bullet slid out and hit the ground.

The next round went "POOF" and the bullet hit the guy about as hard as a rubber band gun and bounced off his chest. I actually saw the bullet fly a distance of about 5 feet. That’s how slow it was going. It took a second or two to make it to the BG

I proceeded to run though the mag with similar results.

I don’t know what happen after that but Im sure I didn’t fair well.
 
I have a recurring theme in some of my dreams. I'm in some sort of situation requiring the use of a firearm, and the trigger pull is immense! We're talking 40 or 50lbs and almost impossible to work with any speed.
Wife has had one where I'm off at work or the strip club or sumthin :p and someone breaks in. She pulls the revolver out, but because she 'doesn't know how to use it' the bullets bounce off the BGINK...
 
Mine always function properly, never jam, and hit where I aim. I guess I am shooting FMJs or something though because they just go right through with no effect on the BG :(
 
No firearm,I wasnt going to post it , but I dreamed a plane blew up over Memphis with a nulear bomb; very vivid ,a small bomb but damn..... I dreamed this morn.
 
I once had a dream that I was in a store, and a bad guy came in to rob it. I never had a chance to clear leather and he shot me in the head. I remember the muzzle blast, slowly sinking to the ground and everything going black. I woke up and couldn't move. That was scary.
