Stupid gunshow conversations. . .

The "dumbest thing you've heard at a gun store" thread brought back memories of some gunshow idiocy I witnessed back when I was a wee child.

A dealer was talking to a rather small-framed woman who was appantly looking for a self-defense knife. He was showing her a serrated folder with about a five inch tanto blade. It had a blaze orange plastic handle and a spring assist. Rather a rediculous looking knife, but the commentary was even better. . .

"If some guy mugs you and you whip this baby out, I guaran-damn-tee he'll jump back five feet before he blows you away. . ."

Now there's a comforting thought I didn't stick around to see if the sale went through.
