This is hilarious.
First they want to outlaw Saturday Night Specials, the cheap inexpensively made guns that when made small required low pressure cartridges.
Remember all the special laws to outlaw them from frame melting point laws, to caliber restrictions, import restrictions on size, caliber, and basically cost.
They made it as hard as possible on these low profit margin companies, until most of them ceased to exist.
So they finally got what they asked for, the cheap Saturday Night Special disappeared. The market is now primarily higher cost and higher quality firearms that use at least the calibers police consider a minimum duty round.
