Went to the indoor range with my buddy and shot his Kel-Tec Sub2000 (9mm, S&W mags) for the first time today.
What a neat little unit!! it was a blast to shoot!!!!!
Firing American FMJ 9mm ammo it had no malfunctions, and at 25 yards I easily put 10 rounds of rapid fire into the 9 ring on a sillouette target. This was off-hand and shooting as soon as I got sight alignment/sight picture...bang...bang...bang...
Recoil was a little more then I expected, but not uncontrolable.
I didn't like the mag release, nor did I like the charging handle (pain in the *** to lock it back).
I did like the sights, easy to see and focus on, grips could use to be more ergo. Taller shooters will like the 1" extension..I was perfect without it (I'm 5'3")
At about 15 yards my buddy shot a 4" group....I'm sure with some trigger work and better ammo, from a bench you could really get tighter groups....but for a self defense and police 'back up' carbine, its a damn fine little unit!
