Such a lonely day, and it's mine...

Sorry to see it. It's easy to retip and regrind the secondary, except the black will be gone if you have to profile the spine.

My sister did that to a pretty nice Buck folder I got her, get this, unscrewing a license plate off a car (police business). I then used a basic random orbit sander to dress up the new screwdriver tip so she could do the next ones easier.

Looks like a screwdriver.

I made the mistake of using it like a screwdriver, in the dark.

At work last night, trying to get a set of locomotives from one yard back to another. The locomotive on one end didn't have a radio, while trying to remove it from another in the dark...

Should've known it was going to be one of those days, when this happened right in front of me and my conductor.

Poor defenseless little Blur. What is the steel on that one? I've got an old Red with some version of 440 steel and the combo edge that I have been kicking around for decades.

Depends on when you bought it, early versions were 440 until about 2007. They then went to 13C26 until 2009 and then switched to 14C28N.

I believe that they also released the Blur in CPM M4 and Magnacut. Which ran the prices up over $200 for a very neat EDC.

I just thought it was a little much, for a knife that was priced right at under $100.

Mine is a 14C28N version, I've had them in 20CV and BDZ.

Yeah, should've grabbed my power pliers and used them. We were rushing to get done, didn't help.

Still got O.T. and stuck in morning traffic in SoCal.

Guess I'm going to move the Skallywag up to work knife for now.
