Hey all, went to the range today and i have the itch for a new gun
the problem is, I am completely lost on where to go or what to get. :banghead: I currently own a '53 browing a5 and a cz452, both are great guns and I love plinking with the .22 and shooting clays with the .12 ga. BUT it's boring shooting the same thing over and over! As for budget i'd like to keep it around 500~ dollars. any rifle's you guy's might recommend around that price range? I really enjoy plinking, and versatility is nice but not entirely needed. thanks!

Are they accurate? Where is a good place to find the saiga online? any more info on them? And are lever action good?

Why ask us? If you got the itch for a new (to you) firearm, do what I do- Start looking around until you find something you can afford that catches your eye. In your position i'd consider the following-

AR15
M1 Garand
M1 Carbine
M14
03-A3
FN-49, especially the Luxembourg (30-06) or Argentine (308)
Enfield
A light walkabout rifle in 223 or 204

...just to name a few. Find something that sparks your interest, do a bit a of research, set aside some money and start looking around

AR-15

Sounds like you're ready for a mouse gun! Ammo is pretty cheap, they can be scary accurate, and they are fun to shoot all day with almost no recoil! AR-15! Check out Armalite.com.
