Sun Bear protection?

A lot of people ask about what firearm to carry for protection against the world's largest bears.

But what about the world's smallest bears? What about them?

They look like they're some ferocious beasts. I'll bet if you were eating buttermilk biscuits covered in honey, these bears would steal your breakfast.

They may be the smallest bear but I still wouldn't want to run into one that's having a bad day. Sure are cute though!
 
He appears to have some impressive claws, probably utilize the same caliber as used against Tasmanian Devils. Or, toss honeycombs at him until he's too full to attack. :)

So's my bird dog, but I haven't had to shoot him yet.
