Super Black Eagle roots

So, I just watched my buddy disassembling his Super Black Eagle 12 gauge the other day... and it occurred to me that Benelli basically stole the recoil system directly from the FAL. Literally, the bolt, bolt carrier, recoil spring and compressing rod are pretty much slightly modified versions of the FAL's. Obviously, the long stroke piston gas system is different, but even the lower receivers are similar. Just food for thought... most people probably wouldn't think to compare the right arm of freedom to a modern day Italian sporting shotgun.

I would probably never would have noticed it. I think my brother has the SBE and will have to take a look.

I have noticed a few times you like to get a little fiesty in your post. In 1 or 2 you used cuss word. Being only 14 is not an issue to me. You will probably benefit yourself in the long run to curse as little as you can throughout your life. Also the way you act or react will most likely be how people judge you, no matter what the other guy did. I do admire that you have the ambition and are making the effort to be a better shooter. Rifleman might be a better term. You are fortunate that you have a lot of time on the clock to develop your skill. Use some of it to be a well rounded person. Obviously it is up you. No matter how well you shoot you will be regarded more by how you treat people than your group size or X count. You will probably end up with better quality friends as a bonus.
