The word about this stuff is that it is "mildly" corrosive.

I understand that with some few exceptions, the PS headstamp is non-corrosive. The KA headstamp, the stuff in bandoliers, is known to be corrosive, but I have shot the PS stuff with no corrosive after-effects; even after sitting a week without being cleaned. Granted, I do live in a low-humidity area, but I don't believe the PS stuff is corrosive. There were a few lots known to be corrosive, but I don't think any of the current lots are.

As Marnoot said, the original info I read about this ammo was on www.battlerifles.com and it appears the PS stuff is non-corrosive. The KA on the clips already is corrosive for sure. I didn't have any issues with the PS stuff after shooting my Garand, I originally got the ammo from Midway.
