I wanted to put a YHM QD on my M92 I had SBR'ed to see what it sounds like with a YHM .30 on it.

The problem is the QD muzzle brake does not come in 26x1.5 LH.

Is there something I can do to make it fit my M92 without having the barrel re-threaded?

the QD comes in 5/8-24 but has a few other options but none of the thread adapters I have found convert to 26X1.5LH

Maybe. I guess I should of thought of this. Really I bought the suppressor for my current AR10 build BUT I have not finished that and wanted to just mess around with it.

I emailed USMACHINEGUN and asked them if they think this attached to the M92 barrel and then the QD muzzle brake attached to it and then a suppressor on that is a good idea. I fear it is to many pieces attached together and may risk there being slack or pieces loosening and then possible baffle strikes.

^^^^ second TROSUSA, Mark can machine about any adapter needed.

In the event your suppressor is the Ti model like mine, I was advised not to pair that with my PWS Diablo 7.62x39 with a 7" barrel. The reasons given were too much heat and possibly not enough barrel length to stabilize the bullets. The first one pertains mostly to the Ti material, the second reason would apply to any suppressor owing to possible baffle strikes. In any event, I shoot mine with just a PWS CQB brake.

If you get yours to run fine I'd sure like to hear about it, I really want a can on my beast.

USMACHINEGUN said they would not reccomend it.
CNC WARRIOR (Who I have used their products and like said it should not be a problem as long as I get a barrel rod and ensure it is all concentric with the suppressor attached.

I would love to shoot it a few times just to see how it sounds, but I am not sure if I am going to risk it. I learn more towards NO.

Maybe I'll toss it on the full size AK while I finish the AR10 build

I used a CNC adapter to try this on my VZ.58 and the adapter indexed on the front sight post (if your are willing to not use the locking lugs) and the drill-rod egocentricity check failed. It takes very little to throw off concentrically and warsaw pact guns are generally not built this way.

If you want to use the locking lugs, you may very well have too much wobble. It's fine for a FS but not a long can.

I didn't even thing of trying on my PAP after my experience with the VZ.

If you get it to work (luck?) let us know how it sounds suppressed.

18" Oly Arms 7.62x39
18" barrel and 7.8" (?) are two totally different classes. I have to check the rating of the can once I receive it to see if it can even handle it.

Will do. I likely will not risk it. The can was bought for two reasons, it was so cheap I felt stupid to say no ($500) AND it was eventually going to go on my AR10 build. I figured it would be fun to shoot on my M92 SBR in the interim since I do not even have the barrel for my AR10. I don't think risking a baffle strike or complete destruction is worth 1 or 2 magazines.

Even if it does work out I am debating if about $50 for the rod and adapter is worth the few minutes (and later potential) of fun.

I will let you know.
