Suppressors in WA

So let me get this straight. In Washington you can legally buy a suppressor, but it is illegal to put it on a gun.

Is that correct?

You can have it on a firearm, as far as I know - the illegality is if you discharge any rounds through the silencer.

You can buy, sell, make, mount on a gun, but not use. Yes it is big time BS, but that does not stop me from making as many as I can (on the ATF form 1) for use in one of the 37 states that allow us to use them.

Hopefully when I retire for good it will be in a more gun friendly state were I can enjoy the fruits of my labors.
