So, I have probably six Sure Fire flashlights. I have one for almost every need save for any of the new super expensive LED miniatures.

I have two G2Z's neither of which work anymore, a few others. Only one is still fully functional. I got a RA from customer service for the worst of the G2Z's so will send it back. The switch rubber cover broke into pieces for some odd reason, and a week later the switch became inoperable. Then the switch on the other one became intermittent and you had to tap it on something to get it to light, and the last time I did that, the module blew out even though it was two weeks old. The others all just had premature module burn outs or spots in a new module develop soon after a few hours of use.

Lately, since there is so much competition for them in way cheaper, nice flashlights, I have been buying cheaper lights. I have had great records with the cheapies, as bright as and better than the SF's, and usually they take cheaper batteries like rechragable AA's or even AA's. So far so good. BUT I WANT to trust Sure fire again. Has anyone here had similar problems that were cured by them at no cost?

I do have one that has been stellar and now sports a nice bright LED module but it is now a $150.00 flashlight, and I have a $30.00 light that seems just as good and is a tad brighter and uses AAA batteries.
