surfing Oleg's site at work... heh...

Yesterday I hit that wall around 4PM - you know, where you lose energy to keep pushing ahead at work? - so I grabbed a Diet Dr. Pepper and pointed my web browser over to the High Road.

Shortly, thereafter, I found my way to Oleg's Site and then pretty soon had one of his new images up on the screen.

At that moment, my business partner D. decides to get up and stretch and comes over near my area. It's not like I'm going to minimize Oleg's site (thought I would?), so.... naturally enough, he soon sees the image and is drawn in.

"What's that?"

"Oh, it's one of my friend Oleg's pictures."

Backgrounder: D. hails from Marin County and is in his early 40s. He is very cool in general but has expressed anti-gun feelings before.

D. is sort of taken back, and walks away, saying "Huh". I could tell he was thinking.

He didn't really say anything. Recalling this situation, I realize yet another reason I like Oleg's art: it forces _everyone_ to think, not just pro-gun folks.

Though anti-gun rights people naturally don't seek out this sort of information, when they _do_ see it, they have no choice but to confront their own belief structure / world view / assumptions.

Now if someone would put Oleg's images onto stickers...

A sheeple did complain to my boss about it, though, so I don't use it at work anymore. Instead, I use Oleg pics as my desktop, and don't use a screensaver at all
