I bought about 50 rounds of light ball from a surplus store in my town today, they didnt know what country the ammo was from, its 149 grain I believe. Steel case with a copper wash, the headstamp has a star up top, 50 on the bottom, 3 on the left and 10 on the right and has red sealant around the primer. Do any of you know where its from?

bulgarian, only one i know that uses a star

i met a girl from bulgaria. shed look at me strange when i asked questions along these lines :p

Bulgarian. My brass case light ball has the sam ehead stamp, except the date (52). The 10 and the star are both good indicators of Bulgarian produced ammo.
