I am talking to my mother over the phone yesterday like a good boy. As it turns out, the mention of the possibility of suspending Posse Comitatus has NOT been mentioned at all in the San Fransisco greater Bay Area in CA!
Now, my mom is generally well-informed on these things. It is sure possible that she just hadn't heard/read in the right places. But I would think something this significant would have made it to the major outlets such that it wouldn't be too hard to be aware of it.
If it really hasn't made it through the thought-screeners in CA... well... I find myself being angry, saying "it figures", and various different things.
