SW1911sc E type

I am thinking about buying a commander size 1911 and see that S&W offers this model in scandium alloy frame, 4.25" bbl, without a firing pin block and with a GI type guide rod. This pistol comes in two tone SS/blk and all blk Melonite with an Ed Brown type bobbed carry handle. Anyone own this pistol? Info would be appreciated.

I don't own one, but it's one of only 2-3 pistols on my short list.
I do have a 3" SW pro series 1911 with a scandium frame that's been fantastic

I own one S&W SEMI AUTO 1911PD 4.1/4” 45ACP GS 8 + 1, it's my first very hard pistol for beginner.
Now I do have a BERETTA PX4 STORM that's also fantastic.
About the handgun S&W, is there someone that can help me for the magazine release button. I've broken it during my last gunshot session. p.n. is 275260000 it's quite impossible to find in Italy.

Any standard 1911 magazine catch should work. That's the beauty of 1911's everyone makes parts that work for then

I've had one for a couple of years and like it a lot, no problems at all, light and easy to carry.
