won a rifle at a DU auction, and swapped if for a henry 22 h001 for my daughter.... it might be a tad big for her... my question is... is the youth h001y stock swappable? i know the barrel and mag tube are smaller on the youth... but can I get a smaller stock and swap it?

thanks all!!

I don't know if you can swap it, but I cut the stock on my son's Henry. When he out grew the shorter stock, I ordered a new one from Henry. It think it was like $50. In hind sight, I should have just kept the section that I cut off. I could have glued it back on with some Elmer's wood glue.

I just called Henry, a lovely woman named Laura answered, and said hel it is for your daughter I will send you one gratis. I told here wow!! I ahvent even had her shoot it yet, and was just checking my options... she said just call her back and she will send me one if I want. awesome.

I've never been super impressed with Henrys, but that kind of stuff makes me want to buy one of their guns.

Yeah i know it isn't top of the line, but it isn't like I am planning a trip to the wilderness for a month. It is for the kid, and me... plinking. And the extra $ for a Winchester or whatever would likely be wasted.
