I'm looking to switch over to Missouri Bullet Co. For the majority of my reloading needs. The attached screenshot is what is in my cart now...and I do have the THR code for the discount, but I wanted to get a little confirmation on these before I buy.

.259 bullets would be used in .256winmag rifle (marlin)
.310 bullets would be used in 30-30 (marlin)
.312 bullets would be in 32swl revolver (3" smith 30-1)
.356 bullets in 9mm (taurus pt99) (too light???)
.358 bullets in 38spl and 357 mag (16" single action army buntline)
.429 in 44 mag (contender super 16 and taurus m44 6") (power/speed limits?)

I wasn't able to enlarge the link enough to read it, but for the .44 cal. bullets, I'd suggest .430"-.432" diameter depending on the gun's cylinder throat diameter. The .429" bullets might work for the Contender (I shoot .431" in mine). Bullets of hard lead @ .356" in the 9mm may lead the barrel, depending on the groove diameter (I size my 9mm to .357" for a .355"-.356" barrel). For shooting lead bullets, fit is a key consideration. Loss of accuracy and leading is usually from too small, too hard bullets...

I am running Missouri .358 LSWC 158gr 18 br Kieth style in my Ruger Bkhk. I am getting almost zero leading. What little does show up is easily removed with a few brush strokes of Hoppes #9. This may be because they tend to run a little fat .3585 to .3590 and seal the bore well.
My best load is around 15.0 gr of 4227, tried 12.0 to 17.0
Jo Anne at Missouri will take care of you. Great company.
Good reloading Catpop

I use Missouri 38 cal 148 DEWC (38 Special), 38 cal 158 cal SWC (357 Magnum), 44 cal 240 FN (44 Special), 44 cal 240 SWC (44 Magnum) and 45 cal 255 SWC (45 Colt).

They work great and great service from Missouri.

Note, I load the two Magnums just slighter hotter than the maximum load data for their Special counter parts.

That's good to know cfullgraf. I was wondering where I needed to load. I don't yet have a chronometer so my loading is more so by primer and barrel leading than anything else. (REALLY hot on .357 shooting jacketed bullets out of my buntline) and I have had a couple issues with leading in my 9mm and 38spls forcing me to back off more than I would really like to.

My Taraus PT99 really like the 9mm 125 cones either coated or uncoated.
(and I was beginng to think I was the only one who bought a PT99)

I have shot many more of the uncoated ones but now that coated are available I spend the few extra $ and get the coated ones.
Great Company
Don't forget the THR 5% discount.
They ship up to 4 of there boxes in a MFRB.
If your are getting like kinds sometimes they can take 3 boxes of 500 and dump them into 2 so you could get 1500 of one flavor and 1500 of another flavor in a MFRB.
