Excuse my excitement, but I really like old knives and I really, really like a bargain,

The story.

Went to the gun show sat. I did not need anything, just socializing and having fun. Lots of guns and knives at retail or above. EXCEPT one dealer had a shoe box full of knive for a dollar each. Most were offshore junk. All were either rusted, dirty, broken, or a combination of all three.

Then I found this! An old Imperial, Marked Imperial Prov USA. Carbon steel. Very nice, Cracked Ice finish scales.

Very dirty, some rust and gunk, broken at the very tip on small blade.

Good snap to both blades and no wiggle!

I spent some time cleaning it up and here it is.

Not bad for a buck, huh.

Ah, There It Is

Nice.

Very nice.

Well done.

Kind of you to take in an orphan like that. Anyone ever tell you that you're an old softy?

:D

Geez doc... a buck for that yucky old Imperial? You got ripped off.:evil:;)

Should have saved up another couple bucks for a Rough Rider.:neener::)

(got to love old 1095 :D , my boy has a bunch of those old Imperial Jacks. I can't seem to pass one up either. )

Great old knife doc!

When I was a kid, those things were pretty common place, they had great carbon steel blades. Loved the old cracked ice scales. Most of what I remember were white though. The blue looks great.

Thanks guys,

Yesterday I got 2 electrician knives at the indoor flea maket.

One colonial and one camillus

Total cost $3.00 Ya gotta love it!

Todd, I admit RR is the only left shore knife I will buy, Just a character flaw I guess :)
