Symbols on S&W Model 19

I've never seen engraving like this on a S&W revolver before. They are on the bottom of the barrel just ahead of the ejector shroud on a non-pinned 6" Model 19. Any ideas as to what they mean?

"on the bottom........ " where on the "bottom"?

It appears to be the bottom of the barrel under-lug.

I'd have to say it is an export proof mark for some foreign country.
Which one I couldn't say without a lot of research.

Yep, likely they're foreign proof marks.

Anything imported to Germany was proofed and marked by the individual facility, like Neckarsulm. I've not seen anything like these before. France or Spain perhaps?
