I would like info on makers of synthetic stocks, preferably makers that are regarded as good. Whats out there? Who makes the "best" stocks? (Mostly for hunting)
How heavy are standard factory wooden stocks usually?
What paint is used for synthetic stocks? I´ve seen "gelcoats", polyurethane, epoxy and "The epoxy color coat is a matte texture finish, non-glare and non-slip."
How is this "non slip surface" made? Can this be made at home?
So far I´ve found H-S precision, Mcmillan and Lone Wolf stocks. These look good http://www.lonewolfriflestocks.com/hunting.html model "Summit".
Anybody know if Lone Wolf stocks are any good? Comparble to H-S and Mcmillan?
