I am debating whether to get a G2 aftermarket barrel in 7.62x39.
The bores are .308 not (.311). Would it be safe to fire .311 Russian import ammo like Barnaul through a .308 bore? Can the G2 take the pressures of factory 7.62x39 on the frame? No one mass produces a 7.62x39 barrel for the G2 so it would have to be a custom job. Its hard to know what is safe when there is not too much info on this caliber for a .308 bored barrel.
