TacticalPro Hearing Protection, Best???
Doing some searching for Xmas gifts and came across a new Hearing protection from Peltor called TacticalPro. It is replacing the Tactical 7 Electronic muffs. Has anyone seen or tried these out yet?
The spec seem impressive:
3 Head Band models, Behind the head, Hard Hat, or over the head folding
NRR of 26dba, amplification up to 82 db, 360 Omni stereo mics
Can be used with portable radio/cd, has audio jack, can plug in a boom mic
Takes 2 AA batteries, life is 270 hours (with a beep to signal low volts)
Power saver feature, shuts off after 2 hours if volume has not been adjusted... Gel filled ear cushions

They showed a price of $163.59.
These seem to have the best NRR that I have seen for electronics, Better than the Comtac. Has anyone come across any better?
