I did a search didn't find any results for this question so thought a new thread was appropriate.

Has anyone here tried the tactipac fusionpac "belly band" style IWB holster? I looked really hard at it a couple years ago but they didn't offer it for my gun and my many, many, many attempts to contact them through phone, email, social media all went unanswered. I was literally trying to throw my money at them and couldn't get a response. Back then I read other people commenting about how it seemed to be a poorly ran business by a sole person, long wait times on orders, terrible communication, etc ... but those that had the holster typically raved about it.

Well with summer around the corner I'm again wanting to look at the belly band style again because I'm always wearing gym shorts around in the summer and admit to not carrying quite a bit because of it. Because of that I need something that doesn't require a belt and that leaves me in the belly band category, but most of those have a simple "pouch" to put your gun in and while they may be well enough secure, I want a proper trigger guard. The TactiPac offers a well constructed band from the looks of it, with a kydex shell for good retention and proper trigger guard safety.

Anyone here have experience with this company / product? Give me the good and bad before I plunk down $80 and roll the dice on it

I haven't tried this but another option that I have used for a belly band is having the gun in a sticky holster (or other pocket holster) that you put on the inside of the belly band. It is a little cheaper and more customizable while still protecting the trigger.
