I maybe have a slight obsession (OK ... enough - I heard ya!! :D ) .... regarding getting shots of barrels .. internally. Tried something out earlier ... thought I'd post it ... pure self-idulgence I guess! :p

First ... the ''model''...... in reclining mode!

Then ... looking down her throat ... so too speak!! Guess what ... yeah ... I just cleaned it!! :)

Managed to get quite an extreme depth of field .. and was quite pleased. For anyone interested .... 0.8 seconds at f11, at ISO 100. Had general lighting under light tent but added a flashlight beam from off to left shining onto recoil shield.

Nice one P95Carry!
As you may have noticed, I've also recently been experimenting with firearm photography.

Very nice barrel shot! I'm inspired to try again!

Am I the only one that thought of this when I saw P95carry's 'down the barrel shot'?

I can almost hear the theme song now...

So that's what that is at the start of the James Bond films. Huh, I always wondered what that was supposed to be. What an epiphany!

I thought it was like someone looking through a peephole or something.

Aha ... the Bond ''thing''! Yep ... remember that ... the barrel would sweep side to side, with the sillhouette in distance ... then settle on that ... sound of shot .. and then a red veil is drawn over the muzzle .. forget now whether the figure falls or not.

Placed the fella ''down the bottom'' .... looks vaguely familiar! :D

I remember seeing ''Dr. No'' when it was released . Damn.... age hits home again!
