Hey out there again. I recently got notified that a Tanfoglio TZ-75 in 9mm is on its way to me soon. Seems that an elderly friend of mine decided to bless me with his personal one. Kept it for years in his recliner I am told, as a front door security system, if you know what I mean. Years ago I got him into reloading, helped him setup a big loading room out back, and now he's giving passing this pistol on to me. I've not had a chance to spend time with this gun, so anybody out there care to share what they know about the TZ-75? Is it a carbon copy of the famed CZ-75, and what should I expect? Any info appreciated, pro's/cons experienced, etc. Thanks.

TZ 75 is a close copy ofthe CZ-75, magazines for the early pre-b CZ-75s should work. Mags for the small frame Tanfoglios should also work. It is a good quality pistola - come over to CZF, we have a Clone Club for all your questions.

Great pistols. Israeli Ya"mam commandos used them for a while. The DA trigger reach is a bit long for my taste, but nice SA triggers.

I have one. It's been around the block a time or two, but it stil shoots well. I use it for plinking at the range.

From my experience, expect very rough internal finishing, mediocre external finish, but very good function and performance.

I owned oner for a few years. Couldn't find a thing with it. Well, DA coulda been better but over all, it was a nice firearm. I only sold it because I realized I hadn't fired it in a couple of years and thought I'd liqiudate it to put toward financing another 1911.
