hey guys i read some where recently that the tantals use a new US barrels,is this true? if so do they still key hole?.
 
They do still use U.S. made barrels. However the keyholing issue has been fixed. Just make sure you buy a new one and not a used one.
 
The new CAIs use the proper barrel. I forgot how you can tell if it's a newer model but I just avoided CAI and went with Interarms and couldn't be happier.
 
As FiveTwoSeven said, that was only a problem on some of the older Century built Tantals. By all accounts they've fixed it on the newer Century built rifles and it was never a problem on the Interarms built rifles (which also have chrome lined barrels, unlike the Century builds).
