TAP brass

Ok, did a search but did not find anything. What is the brass that Hornady's TAP ammo is using? I seen that it is black nickle. Can you buy this for reloading or is it just like the leverevolution bullets that will not be released to the public? Thanks...

I don't believe Hornady sells the TAP cases for reloading, but I have been told they can be reloaded.

I've loaded them without problem. They're brass, with a black coating similar to anodizing. If you leave them in the tumbler too long, it comes off..........

Actually, they look like nickel plated cases to me, with a black coating. I accidentally polished some for about 12 hours, and all the black stuff came off and they just look like nickel plated cases now.

I was told they are black nickle, but not sure. I was hoping to get a few to play with and maybe make some of my hunting loads in these. Kind of different and they look pretty cool.
