i saw the ak 74 style muzzle brake for the ak 47 and its made by tapco i was wondering if it reduced flash and also if you can still attach you bayonet when its on ?

The bayonet will not fit on the rifle with the AK74 style break.

It is not a flash supressor, however i think it does help to some extent. They are effective as a muzzle break, keeping the muzzle down.

If you want an AK74 brake that the bayonet will work with, get a commie-manufactured one and use a 14x1LH to 24mm adapter with it.

The bayonet will work fine with that setup.

The Tapco (and other US-made) "AK74 style brakes" are just look-a-likes, and don't actually do anything beneficial except add weight to the front of your rifle and provide a US part. The reason the Tapco (and other US-made_ "AK74 style brakes" won't work with the bayonet is that they're not even close to the original military design and dimensions. . .

Like said before it cannot allow the Bayonet.
It is also not a flash hider/suppressor it is a muzzle brake. You will still throw somewhat of a fireball but recoil reduction is extreme.

I have the pin on type AK 74 on my MAK 90 and it does nothing that I can tell, except act as decoration. The pin supplied keeps coming out and the break flies off, so I am now holding it in place with a bent over nail, but probably will ditch it next time I bring out the rifle for a shoot.
