Target cube reactionary target

There is another manufacture of a similar type of target. They heal very well. We use them at our range for plate matches. The real trick is to only shoot them with round nose ammo. Hp and wad cutters tear pieces off so they don't last as long.

How much/far does the rifle cube jump around when hit?
Anywhere from not at all to about 10 feet. It really depends on where the bullet hits.

If the bullet passes through the block and keeps on going, then the block won't hardly move. But, if you shoot down through the block so that the exiting bullet hits the ground, then the block will be moved by the ground being pushed up.

Also, fast, small FMJ bullets, like .223, don't cause much movement.

The most movement I've seen is about 10-12 feet. Since it is a block, it bounces in random ways. So it might bounce backwards 5 feet and then 7 feet to the left.

My wife gave a "Shoot Me" 6" diameter all purpose target for Christmas. It has been great. I have shot it with .22, 9mm and .45s, no rifles as of yet. The 9mm and .45 will make it jump but the .22 just will move it a little. You will know that it was hit. The company recommends that wadcutter or semi-wadcutter not be used as they will cut a hole. A couple of the .22s hit a rib and failed to pentatrate and stuck, but no big deal. One thing that I really like is the ease of using. It is always in the truck and when I am out riding in the desert, I can stop and throw it out and begin shooting, no set up or clean-up as with other targets or cans. Just pick a safe backstop.

At $65 is it is expensive but I expect to get many thousands of hits before it wears out. Their web site is: http://www.justshootmeproducts.com/
