Target restrictions

For those of you shooting steel does your range restrict certain calibers so as to not tear up the steel targets.
 
Shoot anything you want (no BMG on the range). Not closer than 300 yards.

My third shot, first hit with my M1 produced a wonderfully satisfying clang. . . and neatly cut the hanger chain. Now I have repair links in the trunk.
 
We have AR500 plates at 100 yards for rifles and have no caliber restriction other than a. 50 cal. Damage is minimal other than tiny pock marks.

We also have AR500 for pistols at 25 yards. I have yet to see a pistol make a mark on them.
 
Restriction doesn't work unless watched.
Hard plate like CPE's looking like Swiss cheese with piles of rifle brass at ten yards was my club's thanks.
