I have been trying to find out where I can purchase, or plans to build, a target shooting pistol case.

Description:
These are wooden cases, that have a pullout shelf holding 4-6 pistols, ammo etc. The lid opens up and has an area to clamp a spotting scope.

Does anyone know where to buy or know where plans on the net are for this item?

Next, i assume that many know where: so who is the cheapest?

Thanks

I found a picture, but no sources yet:

THR member Renaissancemann has one - and since he lives just below Tamara, perhaps we can persuade her to take a picture of his to post here! I'll PM them both about it.

Want me to see if my Dad or Mom want to sell theirs? They don't shoot bullseye any more and use different transport for the pistols these days.

I went to my first smallbore bullseye match the other night. I was the youngest guy there by a longshot and I'm 35. I hope the sport isn't dying out. They all had boxes like you mentioned. Some well worn, with stickers like 1972 National Match. I'm going to go again. I think I can learn a lot from these guys. If anyone does have a target/range box that they aren't using I would be interested too. They are about $125 new. I would try building one, but don't have access to a decent woodshop at the moment.

If anyone hasn't gone to see an NRA Conventional Pistol/Bullseye match they should go see one. Pretty impressive shooting. Most are using some type of red dot scope, but not all. They were shooting a postal match the night I went, and have a more informal shoot every Monday. It was indoors though and the only thing that I was concerned about was the ventilation system. It was on, but seemed a little weak.
