Years ago I bought a used Rem 700 rifle in 257 Roberts that had an older Redfield tracker scope on it. I have used it very little because I prefer a LA in that caliber.
I never payed much attention to the how the scope was mounted however as far as I have been able to ascertain, the bases and rings are Tasco world class. I have not been able to find very much info on these and if they are still available, so if any of you can shed some info on these I would appreciate it. They seem to be a very good scope mount system.

Don't believe those have been made since the '90s, You can get them on eBay fairly regularly

I've had a couple of sets they seem to be decent budget options.

I read somewhere that they were actually made in Australia. Perhaps under other than Tasco name brands.
I don't know, The ones I remember having were in the black and gray boxes and made of steel.... Can't remember they're being any country of origin markings on the boxes.

The older Tasco World Class stuff is pretty decent. Especially the rings and mounts. I've bought them NOS off Ebay in the last year.
