OK, went to a Lynyrd Skynyrd and Cheap Trick concert tonight. Great show (except for Saturday Night Special, but that didn't keep me from enjoying it). Anyhow, I noticed that the officers that carried bothe their duty pistol and a taser weapon, had the Taser simply shoved muzzle down in their back pocket.
Is that common, or even safe? I would think it would take one drunk to walk up behind them and pull the trigger (or even grab the weapon) for that practice to stop.
And yes, the cops did have their work cut out for them tonight. Honestly thought the lady behind me was getting arrested (or tasered, the second officer had his hand on the weapon through the entire encounter).
