Been reading about the max pressure for the Taurus 327. I cant find any max pressure allowed for the gun. Nor can i find pressure reading for factory Speer Gold dot 115 grain or AE 100 grain 327 federal magnum.

I can find speed and etc. Some where i read the round was designed to handle up to 45000 pound of pressure. Far more than the 357. The data for hand loads i see are generally at 41 to 42000 max.

My question is does anyone know what the allowed Taurus 327 model max pressure ?

The max pressure for any .327 Federal Magnum handgun is the SAAMI standard 45,000 PSI.

That is the max factory ammo is loaded too, and that is what over-pressure Proof-Load pressure is based on.

Most published reloading data is limited to about 43,000 PSI or less (hodgdon for instance)

That is what you should stick too.
