I am looking at buying this firearm the week but I can't make up my mind what length barrel to get. The 8 3/8 or the 6 1/2? It will be used for mainly shooting at the range but also used for hunting hogs. So what would you all choose and why?

The 6.5" barrel will give you all the velocity you need and will be a bit handier. Just my preference.
