I have a Taurus 651 in .357 magnum and my dad has a Taurus 905 in 9mm. Both guns are maybe a year old at the most and lately when we fire them, they both skip a round in the cylinder...not something we need happening if we had to rely on them for defense. Once we cycle through the rest of the rounds and come back to the unfired or skipped one, it'll fire. This doesn't happen all the time and I don't know if it's always the same spot in the cylinders or not when they skip. I called Taurus and they said to send them in to have them looked at, which I will do, but has anyone else had this problem?
Thanks.

It sounds like the cylinder stop (the part that locks the chamber(s) in line with the bore) is out of time. To determine why a gunsmith would need to disassemble the lockwork and inspect it. If you lack the skill to do this, returning the gun(s) to Taurus for inspection and repair would seem to be the best bet.
